Brightwire is an Orton-Gillingham influenced reading program that works. And YOU can teach it!
You have a child in your life that needs to read.
Brightwire is a fully-developed, Orton-Gillingham influenced literacy intervention that is simple and engaging. It is scripted, color-coded, easy to learn, and a joy to teach.
Brightwire is appropriate for students in first grade through high school. This flexible intervention must be taught at least twice a week for 50-60 minutes. Students move through the lessons as they attain mastery. It takes most students two school years to complete the program.
The six levels of the Brightwire program take your student from a focused understanding of letter-sound formation and basic reading skills to advanced decoding, fluency, and comprehension.
Brightwire may be taught by Qualified Instructors, Certified Academic Language Therapists, Certified Academic Language Practitioners trained in Brightwire, or non-certified interventionists who have completed training in Brightwire at the CALP level.
